Opportunities to Develop SkillsIn addition to information, youth need motivation and skills to develop healthy relationship skills. Adolescents require opportunities to learn new skills (e.g., assertiveness, communication and problem-solving), and practice applying them in different situations. The lessons provide many practice and role-play opportunities. Students will share their ideas in small groups, larger groups, and whole class discussions. Some exercises are designed to be done individually, while other involve collaboration with classmates.
