SCHOOL-BASED PROJECTS

Video Diversity Program

GRADE 8 AND SAME SEX VIDEO PROJECT

This slide shows Grade 8 students from a local high school in London who participated in our role-play video enhancement project. These students created scenarios involving the triad of risk behaviours that addressed prevalent issues that same-sex partners face. Youth identified issues that result in conflicts (e.g., substance use, sexuality, trust, dating violence), developed scenarios to highlight effective ways to resolve these conflicts, and made a video depicting a range of communication and problem-solving skills.

This project has greatly improved our role play DVD.
